Sonoma County is home for me, a special place of beauty, vitality and spirited people. I was raised in Petaluma, spent a few years in New York attending college and returned to Sebastopol where my wife Lisa and I have lived and raised our family.

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in building things, especially home construction projects large and small. My wife and I, along with our children, were owner-builders of two homes, from design and land development, through all phases of construction; pouring the foundation, pounding nails, running wires, through to the final finish work, a very rewarding and treasured family experience. Additionally, I have volunteered on construction projects through Rotary and church groups, both locally and nationally with disaster relief efforts, including projects in New Orleans after Katrina.

I come to Real Estate from a diverse and rewarding career in the newspaper industry. I started as a photojournalist, a fantastic opportunity to experience and document almost 10 years of daily life in Sonoma County. From there I held a number of leadership positions including Director of Operations and Distribution for the New York Times at the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.

I bring a wealth of experience from family, business and community focused on your needs and a successful result.
